Used the place over the years always liked the atmosphere I'd recommend the cobs to anyone even a bigger carpark adjacent to the place good all round pub

Fantastic place. We love it here. Usually go with our 2 friends. The cobs are something else. Gorgeous. Plenty filling. Beef and ham being my favourite. Pork pies and sausage rolls are yummie too. And you just have to have a jar of their onions too. Staff are so lovely and very friendly. Plenty outside seating with heaters to keep you warm. If you can park on premises, there is another car park just past the Anchor on the left. You can also park a bit further up on the lane (sensibly), oh, and not to mention the friendly little Robin who always stops by for your crumbs, if there's anything left of cause......... what are you waiting for 😃

Best Cobs and HPA in the game.
Took a group of the cricket lads over Xmas, place had a great atmosphere and all the staff were brilliant and friendly despite how busy it was.

Lovely cob lunch at only £3.
Vast choice of beers . Ales and ciders.. also a large outdoor area .
